Teri Dressed For The Dessert Course

That must be how they do it in Texas. What country is Texas in again?

Salad Course

We decided to have the salad after the main course. My sister says that's how they do it in France. Really? I'm thinking that's how they do it down thar in TEXAS! One more course to go. Note the jug of Deavers wine has nearly been conquered. And it is gooood!

On to The Meat Course

We should be finished with dinner in about three days.

The Pasta Course

Italian with Ambiance!

Appetizer Course on the Patio

RUT ROW...She's Out of Control

Your Stimulus Tax Dollars Hard At Work!

Here's a good idea. Let's close the country road that leads to the town square for 6 weeks to widen it 6 inches! Yeah, that's that's a great way to spend our ARRA funds.

The Ahwahnee Hotel

Another lunch with a view! Wow, such a great way to dine.

Bridalveil Falls

Looks like the water flow has toned down. Not quite the same as this past spring but always worth the visit.

Half Dome is Waiting

I think we will admire it from a distance. Didn't complete our training

Our New Office With A View!

Yosemite Valley

On our way into Yosemite for the day. Teri and Fred came in last night. Beautiful weather. More sights to follow.

A proud Lilly taking a break from her new walking gig. One happy girl! Love the Lake!

8/3/11

Whoa Nelly.... a little wobbly but I'll get the hang of it

8/3/11 Lilly's First Steps

We were blessed to witness our granddaughters first steps. A thrill for any grandparent.

The Toys Are Getting Better

But then Uncle Bryan shows up with his iPad and the shopping cart is left behind. Technology wins out again. No contest for the shopping cart!

8/20/11 Connor on the Patio Back at Lake Tulloch

Connor is liking his new shopping cart.

The View from the Deck

Not a bad view to enjoy lunch by....Ah, life is good!

8/18/11 Lunch at Plumas Pines Clubhouse

On the Deck....next checkout the view from the table
We might be in the country but there is no substitute for technology....when there is service -:)

8/18/11 Bakery in Blairsdon

A trip to Plumas Pines is not complete without morning coffee and pastries at the local Bakery. Note Fred the Photographer getting the camera ready.

Sierra Butte

My brother in law, Fred the photographer, says I have some potential after this shot. Taken after dinner at Sardine Lake. Breathtaking!

8/18/11 Sardine Lake

Taking in the sites just before dinner at the Sardine Lake dining room. There was a bar over the water looking at this view. NICE! Dennis is ready to take off in the kayak...put that down, it is not yours!
Enjoying wine on the deck

8/17/11 Plumas Pines

Teri, Steve and Diane on the deck. House is on Plumas Pines golf course. Beautiful. First time all 3 siblings have been together since weddings almost two years ago.

8/16/11 On the Road Again

Heading up to Plumas Pines, an hour outside of Truckee, to visit my sister and husband who came in from Austin for their own vacation.

Jaden's First Day of School

Jaden is one happy boy to start Kindergarten. New friends, new school, new lessons and new experiences. What fun!
The plan was to let her dig into her cake on the deck and capture on video.  She shared and touched it with one finger but not until she had a spoon in her hand did she take an actual bite.  Such a lady!!!  No diving into a cake for my granddaughter.

Aubrey Lilliana's (aka Sissy) 1st Birthday!

Happy Birthday to You!!!!

8/13/11 Bebe and Mary Visit

8/10/11 Dennis and Diane's 37th Anniversary

The Music Series at Bear Valley. A little culture in the mountains. Professional musicians and opera singers come together from all different areas to put on a different performance each night for 2 weeks. They stay with locals and 'vacation' by day and perform by night.  Our performance ranged from refined Italian Opera to Billy Joel to Lady Gaga.  Quite interesting.

Grandpa Loves The Babies

Their not all babies anymore! They love being at the Lake house.

8/1/11 Decisions, decisions

We have arrived at Lake Tulloch to begin our month at the lake. What do we do first? Jump in the Lake or the Pool?.....

Ok. Pool it is! I wonder what the working folks are doing today.
